Construction Contracts Refresher, presented by Andrew Brickell, two days, held in Upper Hutt
  • "ODI recently developed and delivered in-house training for us. We found the process to be streamlined and efficient, and extremely cost effective. ODI staff were readily available throughout the whole process to discuss and assist, from the first step of requesting a quote, to liaising with us and the trainer, and finally scheduling and delivering the training. Meeting with the course presenter to tailor the material to our environment was also easily achieved. Some of the feedback received from attendees: 'Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, with real time industry experience'; 'the practical exercises were very good'; 'I picked up even more than what was in the programme, just from discussing things with Andrew'."

Effective Workplace Writing which Connects with your Audience!, presented by Desirée Williamson, two days, held in Hokitika
  • "The course designed by the Organisation Development Institute to suit the varied requirements of the Department of Conservation staff who attended the Effective Writing Course was excellent. The presenter, Desirée Williamson, is a highly skilled presenter who held the attention of all who attended with her bright appealing manner while always remaining professional. The material shared in the session and the handouts were of an extremely high standard. The one-on-one attention Desirée gave to attendees was most helpful. The course was specifically designed for the many writing styles required within the department to suit a variety of styles such as report writing, media statements, ministerial briefings and technical report writing."

Personal Resilience, presented by Alison Ogier-Price, half-day, held in Rangiora
  • "Thank you for an excellent course that was extremely well received by staff as evidenced by extremely positive feedback noted on evaluation sheets. Course content and delivery featured up to the minute research findings packaged in a way that staff could take away and apply. I would commend this course to any organisation that has frontline and other staff and wants to improve its ability and agility to cope through these challenging times. Very well done ..."
