Carol Howard


Carol is an energetic, experienced and pragmatic coach, consultant and facilitator who works at the intersection of workplace strategy, change and culture. Her experience includes many years working alongside leading companies and teams: Cisco, Twitter, Snapchat, Virgin Mobile and SingTel Optus.

Over the past 5 years she has established a thriving practice with a focus on coaching individuals and teams to make change easier. How? By building confidence and capability on-the-job for rapid, real-world results.

Design thinking, neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, lean/agile change, coaching, social learning, systems thinking and conversation-based facilitation influence her approach. She brings pragmatism, humour and a reputation for getting results.

During 12 years at Cisco Systems, Carol managed complex global projects, programs and cross-functional teams out of Sydney, Australia and San Jose, United States. She led large-scale culture, change, leadership, technology and employee initiatives impacting up to 70,000 employees around the globe.

Carol’s experience includes work at the senior executive level and coalface: leading complex initiatives, getting global projects back on track, and coaching senior executives and leadership teams through complexity, ambiguity and change.
