Helen is an energetic and authentic leader who has specialised in marketing and sales for almost 30 years.
The world continues to change - but she remains a passionate champion of customers and their needs.
Helen enjoys supporting great organisations to grow effectively and succeed in their aims. She works with businesses to help them take a strategic perspective and translate this into realistic plans that can be easily executed to achieve results. She has worked in both the UK and NZ, with a diverse range of industries and organisations; from small family businesses to global multi-nationals; across agriculture, distribution, transport and tourism.
She has a strong understanding of the role of technology and disruption in our future economy and how this can help organisations achieve their aims. She is a great networker and collaborator. She runs the Executive Women in Tech Christchurch and is on the Executive of the Tech Marketers Group (TMG) and organises the Christchurch meet-ups.
She is a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and has held a number of governance roles, including Chair of Amnesty International NZ; trustee of the Hi-Tech Trust; board member of the YMCA Christchurch and YMCA National and as an intern director of the electricity contractor Connetics as part of winning the Institute of Director’s Emerging Director Award.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys New Zealand's fantastic outdoors, including mountain biking, skiing and tramping; she also loves travel and reading a good book in front of the fire.
