Ian Whitehouse

Facilitator

Ian 'Whit' Whitehouse has more than 30 years experience in scientific research, research management and in general management in the science sector. He has held roles in DSIR and Landcare Research, including Strategic Development Manager and Chief Operating Officer.

Since 2006 Whit has operated his own consultancy business engaged in both sustainability reporting and performance, and in providing facilitation expertise to a wide range of sustainability issues.

Since 2009 Whit has been engaged in establishing and facilitating Zone Water Management Committees for the Canterbury Water Management Strategy at Environment Canterbury and is Zone Facilitator for the Hurunui-Waiau zone committee.
