Phil Laurence has almost 25 years in the training and consultancy industry. His focus and passion is for designing and delivering leadership, team development and accountability programmes to clients in the public and private sectors. He also serves as a coach and mentor to a number of company general and senior managers.
Phil is a New Zealander who has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Fiji. He currently resides in New Zealand. He is a graduate of the University of Waikato and has held Branch, Regional and General Manager positions over several years within New Zealand’s horticultural industry.
Phil draws upon the knowledge, insights, and skills he has acquired from these leading authorities when designing his programmes and workshops.
Phil acts on the understanding that learning is most valuable when it is successfully transferred into action. As a result, experiential learning, action-planning, and follow-up activities are typically incorporated into clients’ programmes and workshops so that key skills are readily transferred to the workplace. He has worked with some of the Pacific Rim region's most successful organisations. At all times, he strives to incorporate contemporary research findings and best-practice experience into the training he provides so that client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
