Denise Hartley-Wilkins is a people and organisation development consultant, executive coach and trainer with over 25 years’ experience gained in a diverse range of organisations in New Zealand, the UK and Canada. She has extensive strategic and operational experience and has held a number of senior roles where she has implemented large scale OD programmes. Her industry experience includes central and local government, IT, high tech and food manufacturing, education, health, forestry, publishing, seafood, hospitality, financial services, not-for-profit and NGOs.
Denise subscribes to the belief that 'you don't have great organisations, you have great workplaces'. She is passionate about developing people and organisations to help them realise their potential and shine. She is an experienced facilitator, designing and delivering programmes aligned to business outcomes. Clients value her practical, friendly and professional approach, along with her ability to quickly get to the root of a problem, to identify and implement solutions and deliver great results.
Her areas of expertise include programme design and facilitation, leadership and culture, change management, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, workplace bullying and harassment awareness, conflict resolution, performance and behavioural coaching. She has written numerous articles for professional journals and has presented at conferences and symposiums.
Denise is the National President, a Chartered Fellow and National Board Director with HRNZ (Human Resources New Zealand). An active contributor in the HR and HRNZ community, she is a judge for both the HRNZ and Tourism New Zealand Awards. She is also a Chartered professional member of the Chartered Institute and Development (UK), an ACC credentialed member of the International Coach Federation and an accredited Business Mentor with Business Mentors New Zealand.
Outside of work her happy space is the beach and ocean, hiking with her husband, peeking around the corners of the world and chilling with family and friends.
