Description

What do people become around you - more open, more courageous, more collaborative? … or more guarded?

Leadership impact is rarely defined by technical capability alone. It is shaped through the behaviours leaders demonstrate every day, particularly how they connect with, understand, and positively influence others. This highly practical workshop introduces leaders to the Genos Emotional Intelligence framework, providing a powerful lens for understanding how emotions influence our decisions, behaviour, and performance. Through a blend of research-based insights, practical models, reflection, and facilitated discussion, you will explore how emotionally intelligent leadership drives stronger connection, clearer communication, and better collaboration.

Prior to the workshop, you will complete a Genos Emotional Intelligence 180 or 360 assessment and receive a digital debrief on your results. The outputs of this provide rich feedback on how frequently you demonstrate emotionally intelligent leadership behaviours at work. These insights form the foundation for the learning experience and help you to identify the areas of development that will have the greatest impact on your leadership effectiveness.
