Carol Speirs

Carol has worked with companies, large and small, and in the public sector as a manager, leader and learning professional. Her speciality is project management training. She greatly enjoys helping new project managers have those light bulb moments when the way is clear and they know what to do next for their project.
She is an experienced ‘people professional’ with over 20 years in the corporate and not-for-profit environment including roles in HR, learning and development, consulting and IT worlds. She has worked for some of the big names - IBM, Meridian Energy, EDF (UK) and for smaller niche market consultancies.
Carol’s learning design methods involve the client in all steps and is pragmatic and tailored to the learning styles and learning outcomes needed. She enjoys the challenge of taking something complex and making it easily understood by the workshop participants. She has a facilitative style and enjoys sharing experiences with her course participants.
To aid learning and development, sometimes a tool or series of tools are needed; she has extensive experience with Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and DiSC profiling.
Carol helps people improve their role through career coaching and tailored development programmes. Whether it be presentation skills, time management, risk and project management, Carol can help guide with skills improvement.
