Shireen is an experienced facilitator, coach, and consultant who specialises in building sustainable organisations at the intersection of vertical leadership and organisational development. Her work centres on unlocking the capability in individuals, teams and organisations—to grow, adapt, and thrive in today’s complex and rapidly changing environments. She loves to encourage, stir, nudge and unlock the possibilities to deepen capability to grow intercultural agility to flourish in a culturally diverse setting.

Shireen’s focus is on fostering interculturality and navigating complexity in diverse teams and organisations. Her PhD research and practice explores leadership’s agency in developing equity, inclusion, and belonging—key pillars for creating high-performing, sustainable organisations where everyone can flourish. She champions the development of a ‘culture of cultures’, where diverse perspectives are not only included but essential to success.

With a playful yet purposeful approach, Shireen brings research and loving provocation into her coaching, co-design, and experiential learning to uncover the hidden cultural patterns that shape organisations. Her work integrates insights from neuroscience and intercultural intelligence to develop practical, New Zealand-based strategies that challenge and expand leadership and organisational practices.

Known for her engaging and insightful facilitation style, Shireen brings warmth, depth, and humour to her work. Participants often describe her sessions as transformative, leaving with wide eyes, full minds, and a desire for more.

Over the past 20 years, Shireen has worked across government, health, education, academia, and the corporate, sector and run her own small business. Her experience spans project management, programme development, and organisational consulting. Today, she partners with organisations navigating the complexity of cultural diversity—supporting them to build intercultural leadership capability and inclusive workplace cultures.

Her clients include organisations across farming, construction, utilities, education, and professional services.
