Description
Governance is the responsibility of boards which operate as the conduit between the owners, shareholders, or whānau, and the manner in which the organisation is run day-to-day.
Good governance means the organisation is continuously moving towards achieving its vision. Sometimes we find ourselves on boards that enjoy a good talk fest but achieve very little. Management cannot be left unchecked, and the board is responsible for ensuring there is accountability.
If you are on a board that doesn’t seem to be heading in the right direction or you have new board members, this workshop is for you.
This workshop will help clarify the role of the board and simplify the governance and management interface. It covers board culture and touches on decision-making as well as board and board member evaluation.
