Emotional Intelligence

We are increasingly being asked to work with leaders and teams to enhance their individual and collective Emotional Intelligence (EI). Alison Hood is one of the ODI consulting team who is highly skilled in developing EI in business. She can design and facilitate a training programme for you that either includes or excludes assessment tools, depending on your specific needs and budget.

Alison is one of a unique group of Australasia qualified practitioners in the JCA Global Emotional Intelligence Profile (EIP), and has access to a specialised suite of tools that enable people to learn and grow their EI.

The JCA EIP is totally unique in that it identifies an individual’s core attitudes of self-regard and regard for others, a measure in no other EI tool in the market. It enables people to unlock potential and enable sustainable change by identifying the underlying attitudes that underpin their thinking and feeling that then drives behaviour.

The 16 scales of the EIP3 are structured within a six-part framework which separates the scales into:

  • Personal Intelligence; having positive self-regard, being self-aware and managing your behaviour effectively.
  • Interpersonal Intelligence; having a positive regard for others, being aware of others and managing your relationships effectively.

We will partner with you to design a bespoke experience for your leaders and teams including 1-1 sessions, facilitated workshops and work assignments. All learning is focused on making sustainable behavioural change for individuals, teams and the organisation.

We’ve worked with ODI over the last few years to deliver a range of tailored in-house courses for our businesses, ranging from Effective Communication through to Technical Report Writing. The quality and professionalism of the facilitators as well as their responsiveness to queries makes them a perfect development partner for our consulting businesses.
