Description

In our diverse organisations, we all need to consider how inclusive our workplace really is. Building a truly inclusive workplace is about creating safe and respectful interactions for everyone.

Inclusivity is a feeling, it's a mindset, it's the way we behave and interact. It's how we act, the way we speak, and the way that we think.

Rather than letting micro-aggressions slide, I have so far had two challenging conversations that allowed people to see that the way they said/did something was inappropriate and how that has an effect on others.

I have self-reflected on my opinions and assessed whether they are prejudice or not and changed my stance on a couple of opinions that I had before the course.
