This masterclass aims to help you to understand how excessive stress can negatively affect performance, and to learn evidence-based strategies to manage excessive stress.

  • recognise the ways that different people show signs and symptoms of stress
  • understand how short term and long term stress affect people differently
  • develop effective, evidence-based ways to manage stress and worry; more than "just breathe"
  • discover how excessive and ongoing stress can lead to burnout.

  • The science of how stress affects our thinking, behaviour and performance
  • What is reasonable stress and what is excessive stress?
  • Ways that people who do not manage stress well can change their reaction to it
